Tesla's tiny house is a modular, sustainable, and foldable home that's designed to be lightweight, portable, and environmentally conscious:
The house is made from sustainable, locally-sourced, chemical-free timber, concrete steel, and EPS foam. The hardwood exterior is laminated to make the house more structurally sound and insulated.
The house is 20 ft x 7 ft x 13 ft and weighs 1,800–2,200 kg. It's designed to be portable and can be transported by truck or trailer.
The house is powered by a 2 kW solar system and Powerwall, which can store energy to use at night. The house can also be monitored and controlled with a Tesla app.
The house includes a queen-sized bed, washroom, kitchen appliances, and a studio. It can withstand extreme conditions like category 5 hurricanes and earthquakes measuring 8–9 on the Richter scale.
The house can be customized in 15 minutes when ordered. The app allows users to control the house, see what's going on when they're not home, and get notifications.
